It was a beautiful place to stay. The condo had an amazing view. The beach was great. We played pickleball a couple times which was awesome. Overall, a pleasant, relaxing week. Thank you Tops'l!

the pictures dont do it justice, its bigger in person. everything was clean and nice. beaches not a far walk at all. the front office was easy to communicate with and very helpful. overall a great place will be booking again in the feature!

Easy check in, great communication prior and throughout, unit was very clean. We’ve stayed at The Summit several times but this was by far our favorite unit. Great ocean views and very well appointed. Bookmarking for our next trip!

Place was perfect! Loved the location and the place. Well equipped and clean. Can't say enough good things.

Everything about this unit is great, location, view, all amenities except the mattresses. The king master bedroom mattress is passable, but certainly not great, the second bedroom, individual twin mattresses are horrid, they are basically baby crib mattresses, other than that, everything is great hence four stars, which is probably a little generous, but three would probably be a little to negative.

This was the most unrestful vacation property that I have ever slept in. We were awoken every weekday morning by deafening noise by a roofing crew directly above us. This unit is on the 11th floor and we were awoken by hammers, belt sanders, etc. every day. I asked for a 30% refund and was given 200 dollars. This noise was so loud that you couldn't hear the television on in the unit. In addition, when I called the front desk the lady admitted that it was so loud she could hardly hear my phone call. We resorted to getting up early and vacating the unit for the beach or shopping early every day understanding that we would get a sizeable refund from the Vacasa manager. Only after our stay ended were we informed by that same (now embarrassed) manager that we would receive a pittance refund of $200, and that "his hands were tied." We were never offered alternative accommodations either. The noise was so loud that our friends on the TENTH floor could hear it. I am not sure that I will ever use Vacasa again. No other property that I am aware of would expect you to pay that kind of money and vacation in the middle of a construction project. It is unfortunate because the unit itself is lovely and was clean. Further, our kids were not able to use the basketball courts for most of the stay due to maintenance. NO refund was given for this either. In sum, we couldn't be inside and we couldn't send our kids to play outside on various amenities at the condo association. Vacasa blamed the HOA for all of it and seems to believe that their treatment of us as guests was reasonable. Finally, if you have a guest that wishes to visit you while you stay at this property, please beware that the front gate staff aggressively enforces guest entry but fails to notify you of that when booking. Our good friend and her three children were made to wait at the gate until we could physically drive to the gate to have her admitted. She was then chased down by a security guard and berated in the parking lot in front of her children for not receiving a parking pass before proceeding to the parking lot. She got back in her car and drove to the gate to be given a sheet of paper while her three small children, who ride in car seats, had to wait on the curb for her with me. She is a local resident in the area and assured me that she would not return to this complex or recommend it to her inlaws who are shopping for property in the Destin area. I hope that this homeowner addresses this with Vacasa, because it was obvious that this homeowner cared about their individual property. It was well appointed and lovely.
